Purpose of Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is to help students learn to write a business proposal as a type of technical document widely used in the workplace.
Objectives
• The student will be able to know the elements or parts of a business.
• The student will identify the style and the format of such technical and professional document.
• The student will be able to express a professional point using a business proposal.
• The student will realize the professional importance of a business proposal in a work place.
Instructional Media: Tools and Resources
• You will be shown several examples and samples of business proposals in class. You will be provided in-class time one week before the assignment is due in order to discuss in groups and search online for necessary required resources.

1. The Proposal should be about a particular product or service that you think it is useful to be bought by or provided for a private company or governmental department in the Eastern Province.

All members in the group need to present the business proposal. All members need to be prepared and on time. If a member is late 2% will be deducted from the 10%. Member(s) that is absent will receive 50% of the group’s grade.

Important Notes:
1. Each proposal should have a cover page that includes class title, section number, instructor’s name, group members and their IDs
2. Proposals should not exceed five pages excluding cover and references pages.
3. All the documents above should use Times New Romans, Font Size: 12, a space of 1.5 between lines, the margins should be either 2.5 cm or 2’’, and with the page number at the bottom right side of the sheet.
