Anti-black racism is racial discrimination and prejudice targeting individuals of African

descent. As an Asian, I believe that anti-black racism is wrong because no individual should face

prejudice based on their skin color. Every individual should be treated equally. I believe that

anti-black racism poses risks to all people of color because if the systems that discriminate

against them remain in place, other people will also be subjected to the same treatment. White

supremacy hurts everyone as Asians have also faced oppression from whites (Ramirez).

Therefore, as an Asian, I consider anti-black racism as a violation against all people of color.

Thus, it is the responsibility of every individual, regardless of race, to fight for the dismantling of

the racist systems so that everyone can get equal treatment.
