You are to write 3 different communications as required in each situation in the papers, at least “12”, double spaced, Time New Roman. 

Directions:

1. Using the template on the down pages, complete the Rhetorical Situation sections below for each audience before composing each communication. 

2. Write your communication in the space provided below your listed elements.

Here is the situation:

While commuting to work or school today, you were involved in a vehicular accident. No one is

seriously hurt, but your vehicle is not drivable. 

Now you must tell your story.

Your assignment is to compose three (3) separate communications, keeping the elements of the

rhetorical situation in mind, to the following audiences:

1. A loved one

2. Your professor

3. The insurance company

Your assignment will be graded as follows:

4 points = Thoughtful completion of Rhetorical Situation for each communication.

4 points = Purpose: Clearly articulated purpose of the communication with a different purpose

for each communication.

4 points = Audience: Vocabulary, tone, level of detail varied based on audience.

4 points = Genre: Appropriate type of communication selected.

4 points = Stance: Stance is conveyed appropriate to the message, audience.
